The story begins with a murder in London and the prime suspect is Colonel John Beetham, who is
hiding pretty heiress Eve Mannering from her evil,Philandering husband Eric Durand.
The action goes from England to Persia to India and finally ends up in San Francisco, where Charlie prevents the gold digging Durand from murdering Beetham.

Eran Trece
(Spanish)

Remake of "Charlie Chan Carries On" - The first sound Charlie Chan feature. This film is among the "Lost" films but the same sets were used to film "Eran Trece". This plot was later to appear in the "Charlie Chan Murder Cruise" film starring Sidney Toler. It begins a murder in London involving a guided tour group. Inspector Duff of Scotland Yard follows the suspects around the world, but is wounded in Honolulu and calls upon his old friend Charlie to take over the case.
